Will they ever win a Game?

This is starting to get ugly. Real ugly. Well they lost again last night, this time to Marist 63-53. Is this what they fired Mike Mcdonald for? To lose 16 of the last 17? Hell I could coach and get that result. I know the team is young and all, but at least not lose pretty much every game by double digits. Maybe I should go to more games, since I saw the last win, at the MAAC tournament. They need the GCFB Karma. Well I also saw them get blasted in their next game. Well Willie Hassell led the team in scoring with 14 points and Frank Turner has a pretty decent game with 9 points and 7 assists. Plus they shot a nice 40.8% on the night, of course Marist shot 54.8% for the game. Which is pretty damn good. Even when Canisius shoots well, the other team shoots the lights out. Maybe its the comfy atmosphere of Koessler.

Well its time for fun with Quotes from Tom Parrotta!

We are still trying to find ourselves and put together a total 40-minute effort,” Canisius head coach Tom Parrotta said. “There’s a five to six minute span in each game that we’ve really struggled with. We need to eliminate that to be successful.

So you're saying you have to play perfect to win? Thats not good, most teams have down periods in games. So is it that you're sucking in that span, or is in that span, where you're just REALLY sucking.

“We got down 11-0 early, but we didn’t hang our heads and we kept working,” Parrotta said. “We didn’t tie the game with an 11-point basket. We worked hard on defense and Willie [Hassell] hit some shots. We are a totally different team than we were on Nov. 13. These guys come to work everyday.”

Well I'm glad you didn't tie the game with a 11 point basket because THEY DON'T EXIST. Hey next time don't get down 11 points to start the game. Oh you're a different team now, and the guys come to work now. Thats nice, might have wanted to do that at the beginning of the season.

We are running what we want to run,” Parrotta said. “We leave a lot of room for individual play. I want guys reading and reacting to situations and sometimes that’s easier said than done. We recruit guys that can dribble, pass and shoot and we’re struggling in some of those aspects, particularly shooting.”

So you recruit guys who can shoot? But you aren't shooting well? Mmmm. It looks like you didn't recruit guys who could dribble, pass or shoot. But I'm patient I can wait.

Hey maybe the real reason for the Griffs losing all their games so far. Are these god awful yellow shoes they wear.
