The Panthers went into PaeTech park looking to pull off an upset of the #1 team in the state, Aquinas. It didn't happen. They lost 28-7, to a bigger, better team. But winning the section and losing to a better team is never a bad thing. Especially when that loss is the only one in your season (10-1). No one in your area can beat you Sweet Home, you need some private school, who yes can bring people out of their district to play. You play with what you got, and what you got is pretty damn good.
Anyway, Aquinas took it to them on the ground and rushed for 319 yards on the day. Which in the rainy cold conditions, screams hey we're gonna run it, stop us. But with Aquinas size, the Panther line was pushed around. Plus they didn't make plays like the Sweet Home QB said.
“We made some good plays, but the coverage they were in they were dropping back pretty far and we couldn’t get any deep passes,“ sad Kacz. “We did have a chance when it was 14-7, but things just went wrong for us and we couldn’t come back.”
That kid is a junior and sounds like a NFL quote right now. Kinda of generic, but to the point. Hey kid you'll be back next year better then ever and ready to kick ass

I hit Faller with a golf ball my junior year in gym class. I still maintain its only because his florescent pink shorts distracted me!!!
